Fives Ways to Show Your Bridesmaids You Appreciate Them

You have your man, you have the ring, now it’s time to gather your girls! Being a bridesmaids is such an honor, but it can also be expensive and time consuming. Your bridesmaids can be an integral part of the wedding festivities and the wedding day. Be sure to make your ladies feel your love and appreciation for them. Here are 5 ways to show your bridesmaids how thankful you are for them.

Ask Them In a Fun, Creative Way

Asking them to stand by your side with a creative gift is a perfect way to show you appreciate them from the beginning. There are so many cute “will you be my bridesmaids” cards you can find, and write a thoughtful handwritten note on the inside. Use this as the opportunity to gift them some of their favorite things such as cookies, champagne, and makeup.

Have Breakfast/Lunch For Them On the Wedding Day

Wedding days are long. Especially for bridesmaids. Hair and makeup has to begin super early in order to get the whole crew dolled up for the big day. Making sure your girls have plenty to eat and stay hydrated during the day is crucial to keep their stamina up and keep them happy. No one wants a “hangry” bridesmaid.

Give Them Something Cute To Get Ready In

If your photographer will be there to capture some getting ready shots, your bridesmaids will want to look their best. Monogrammed robes or matching button up shirts are a fun way to incorporate your wedding day colors and keep your girls styling all day long.

Have a First Look With Them

I adore first looks! There is something so emotional about seeing a bride all dressed up in a wedding dress. Your bridesmaids may have had the opportunity to see you in your dress before, but seeing you with your veil on and your hair and makeup to perfection is something so special. Having your photographer capture that moment for you is something you won’t regret.

Let Them Be Bridesmaids By Hiring a Wedding Planner

When you hire a wedding planner, you and your bridesmaids get to enjoy the entire day. I have heard horror stories from brides who have been in weddings where they had a two hour wedding rehearsal because no one knew what to do,  stayed up late the night before making centerpieces and didn’t know what the “game plan” was for the wedding day because they didn’t have a timeline.

Your wedding planner will handle all those final details so you and your crew can have a stress-free fun day. Let them enjoy the wedding day just as much as you by letting their responsibilities of the day include drinking mimosas and pampering themselves.
