We had the honor of working with Sarah Buis, founder of With Love Paper Goods, for our 2nd Nashville NotWedding earlier this summer. In addition to creating beautiful paper goods, she loves old book stores, talking to strangers, hole-in-the-wall pizza joints and enjoying the fresh, honeysuckle summer air. Sarah passionately pursues the love stories of her clients so that she can illustrate a special piece of that story in her work. We invite you to meet Sarah – and learn a little more about what makes her (and her business) so awesome.

Describe With Love Paper Goods in one sentence.
With Love Paper Goods is a Tennessee-based studio that specializes in creating stationery influenced by your love story.

Where do you go to find inspiration?
The world is an awfully beautiful place. It’s easy to walk away from a Southern garden or cityscape wanting to pour that beauty into my work. My inspiration, though, primarily comes from the stories couples tell me about how they met and fell in love. I love sitting down for consultations with brides and grooms because each relationship is radiant and full of quirks that can’t be matched. It’s a wonderful feeling to take those quirks and visions for their life and see them blossom through stationery.

Who is your biggest fan?
My husband! He has the biggest heart I’ve ever known and encouraged me to start With Love Paper Goods. He has supported this dream from the get-go.

Tell us about your passion and calling to prevent child abuse in America.
I strongly believe that each child is a world full of love and strength, a belief that was fostered by my mother. Traveling to different countries and throughout the US, I saw a need for positive role models who took action to raise healthy children. My husband and I work with children on a daily basis and are going through the adoption process! With Love Paper Goods also donates a portion of the monthly profits to an organization called Preventing Child Abuse America.

What is your favorite part of The NotWedding experience?
Without a doubt, getting to know so many amazing wedding vendors. Everyone there had a heart of gold. We’ve already met up to discuss collaborations, fun projects, and just enjoy each other’s company!
